Instructions for obtaining items from the University of Minnesota Libraries

All records in the Forestry Databases describe items that are owned by the University of Minnesota Libraries. Most items are part of the Forestry Library collection, although some are held in other UM Libraries. Library materials are available to be borrowed and in many cases copies can be purchased from the University of Minnesota.

There are two ways to obtain copies of articles or other documents you discover in the Forestry Databases that are owned by the University of Minnesota Libraries.

Borrow:

Request the item using the interlibrary loan service of your local public or academic library. Contact your library for more information about its interlibrary loan services. They will initiate the request to borrow the item on your behalf.

Purchase:

To obtain a photocopy or electronic delivery of a scanned journal article or part of a government document or book, contact the University of Minnesota's document delivery service ESTIS: Document Delivery Service
